Global Citizenship magazine for schools

Youth Action Toolkit

This toolkit is designed to empower young people to campaign for positive change around local and global issues and to use the learning to form social media actions for change.

Youth Action Toolkit

It can be used in any subject to take forward the connections they have made between real world issues - from poetry in the English classroom to stats in Maths, to experiments in Science - and learn how to craft pieces of digital content for social media campaigns. Young people will be supported to create their own social media campaign, making use of all the distinct pieces of content produced through learning from all different subjects!

This toolkit explains what makes a great campaign step by step. After learning the core of social media campaigning, it focusses on the content side of things - making sure the campaign has a great mix of information to keep it eye catching, impactful and give it the best chance of success!
