11TH NOVEMBER EVERY YEAR

LGBT+ History Month

LGBT+ History Month highlights the lives, experiences and contributions of LGBT+ people, past and present.

In learning, it offers opportunities to take a Global Citizenship Education approach by exploring identity, rights and equality through different subjects and methodologies.

This connects to Scottish classrooms across stages, supporting Health and Wellbeing, literacy and social studies, and creating space for inclusive, respectful discussion.
